The opening ceremony outside St Paul’s Church included an opening cry by the Town Crier, a welcome address by the Town Mayor Cllr Andrew Pearsall and a speech from Nathan Hannay (Player/Coach of Honiton RFC), before Valerie Sheen, chair of the Honiton Market Charter Day Planning Group, declared the day open.
